Service Terms, version v2026-10-19. Last updated 19 October 2026.
These terms cover every job we do. When you book with us, pay a deposit, pay for a job, or let us start work, you agree to them. Please read them. They are written in plain language on purpose.
Short version. If something is not right, tell us within 48 hours and send a photo. We come back and fix it at no charge. Completed services are not refunded.
1. What you are booking
Licona’s Auto Detailing is a mobile auto detailing business in Orlando and Central Florida. Most jobs are done where your car is parked. Ceramic coating and paint correction are usually done at our Orlando shop, because those products need a controlled space to cure. We tell you which one applies before your appointment.
A price we quote is for the car and the condition you described. We have not seen the car yet. If the car is in worse shape than described, or it is a bigger size class than booked, we tell you the new price before we start. You can say no at that point. Only the deposit rules in section 3 apply if you do.
2. If you are not happy with the work
Tell us before we leave, or within 48 hours of the job, and send a photo of the spot you are not happy with.
Our fix is simple. We come back and correct that work at no charge. That is our remedy, and it solves almost everything. We would rather fix it than argue about it.
Completed services are not refunded. Detailing is work we perform on your car. Once the work is done it cannot be handed back.
If we come back and we still cannot get the result you want, we look at it again with you in good faith and we put our answer in writing. If the problem is damage that was already on the car, we show you and explain why detailing cannot correct it.
We do not ask you to give up anything, say anything, or take down anything to get your free return visit. It is yours either way.
3. Deposits
A deposit of $25 holds your appointment. It comes off the price of your service.
The deposit covers the time and the travel we hold for you. It is kept if you cancel late or nobody is there, as set out in section 4.
4. Cancelling, moving your appointment, and no shows
- You cancel or move it with at least 24 hours notice: we refund the deposit in full, or move it to your new date. Your choice.
- You cancel with less than 24 hours notice, or nobody is there, or the car cannot be worked on when we arrive: we keep the deposit.
- We cancel or move it, for any reason, including weather: we refund the deposit in full, or move it to a new date. Your choice.
5. Arrival windows
We give you an arrival window, not an exact minute. Traffic and the job before yours are not always predictable. If we are running late, we text you.
If you have a hard stop time, tell us when you book. We plan the day around it. If we only hear about it when we arrive, we may not be able to finish the full service that day.
6. If you are late, or the car is not reachable
We wait 15 minutes. After that we may have to shorten the service, move the appointment, or treat it as a no show under section 4.
The car needs to be where we can work on it. We need the keys if the inside is part of the job. A legal and safe parking spot is part of that too.
7. Water, power, and a safe place to work
We bring our own water and equipment. For some jobs we still need an outdoor outlet or a water tap within about 100 feet of the car. We tell you in advance when that applies.
If we arrive and there is no safe, legal, shaded or covered place to work, we may have to move the appointment. That counts as a late cancellation under section 4.
8. The condition of your car before we start
We inspect the car and take photos before we start, and we take photos again when we finish. Those photos are our record of the condition of the car at both points.
Detailing makes paint, trim and interior surfaces better. It does not repair damage that is already there. Washing, decontamination, clay and polishing strip away old wax and road film. That can reveal rock chips, swirls, deep scratches, failing clear coat, old touch up paint and cracked trim that were hidden before. We are not responsible for damage that was already on the car and became easier to see once the car was clean.
Where we can see a limit in advance, we tell you before we start.
9. Your things inside the car
Please take your valuables out before we arrive. Cash, electronics, paperwork, tags, toll transponders and anything you care about. We are not responsible for items left in the car.
We do not empty locked compartments. We do not lift out a spare tire or a tool kit to clean under it.
10. Heavy soil, pet hair, and biohazard
Some cars need a lot more time than a normal job. Heavy pet hair, sand, mold, smoke damage, vomit, blood, or anything biological falls in that group.
When we see it, we quote the extra charge first and you approve it before we start. We never add a surcharge after the fact.
11. Smells and stains
We can make a big improvement on most smells and most stains. We cannot promise complete removal. Some stains have dyed the fabric. Some smells have soaked into the foam and the padding under it.
Strong smells sometimes need a second ozone treatment. When ozone is part of the service you booked, that second treatment is included at no charge.
12. Ceramic coating
A ceramic coating carries the term the product itself is rated for. We tell you that term in writing before we apply it.
The coating needs time to cure. Keep the car dry and unwashed for the period we give you after the job, and keep it out from under trees. Bird droppings and bug splatter should come off quickly, not sit for days.
To keep the coating covered, wash the car the way we show you, skip automatic brush car washes, skip harsh chemicals, and bring it in for the maintenance checks we schedule with you. Missing those checks ends the coverage.
Coverage is for the coating failing on its own. It does not cover rock chips, scratches, dents, car wash damage, hard water spots, or normal wear on the car.
13. Weather
We work outside. Heavy rain, storms, lightning, high wind and extreme heat can make the work unsafe or make the result worse. Coating and paint correction need the most stable conditions of all.
If we judge the weather unsuitable, we call you and move the appointment. There is no fee for a weather move, and your deposit follows section 4.
14. Paying
Payment is due when the job is done, before we leave. We take card, Zelle, Cash App, and Klarna or Afterpay if you want to split it into payments. Card payments run through Stripe on their secure page.
Your card statement shows a charge from Licona’s Auto Detailing.
15. If you have a problem with a charge
Call us first at (407) 796-1256. We answer the phone and we sort it out with you directly. Going to your bank first does not get you a faster answer, and it takes away our chance to just fix the problem.
We keep a record of every job. That includes the terms you accepted and when you accepted them, the before and after photos, the work performed, and our messages with you. We provide those records when a charge is disputed.
16. Photos and video of the work
We photograph and film the work for two reasons. One is quality and our own records. The other is marketing, which means our website, our Google profile and our social media.
We do not show license plates. We do not show faces unless you say it is fine. Tell us at any time that you would rather we did not use your car, and we take it down and we do not use it again.
17. Reviews
You are free to review us anywhere, any way you want, good or bad. We never pay for reviews. We never make a discount, a refund, a return visit or anything else depend on a review or on taking one down. We may reply to a review in public to add facts.
18. Calls, texts, and email
When you give us your phone number, you agree that we may call, text and email you about your appointment. Confirmations, arrival updates, the receipt, and follow up on the finished work. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to stop texts, or just tell us.
We use your details to schedule the job, do the work, take payment and talk to you. We do not sell them.
19. What we are responsible for
If we damage your car through our own fault, our responsibility is limited to the cost of the service we performed. That limit does not apply to gross negligence or to anything done on purpose.
We are not responsible for damage that was already on the car, for mechanical or electrical faults, for parts that were fitted badly before we arrived, for a battery that was already weak, or for items left inside the car.
20. If we disagree
Talk to us first. Call (407) 796-1256 and we work it out in good faith. That is the fastest route and it almost always works.
If it does not work, either of us can take the matter to the small claims court in Orange County, Florida. These terms are governed by Florida law.
21. Changes to these terms
We update these terms from time to time. The version that applies to your job is the version published here on the day you booked and accepted it. The version and the date are at the top of this page, and we save them with your order.
Questions
Call or text (407) 796-1256. We would much rather answer a question before the appointment than clear up a misunderstanding after it.
